Currently I am looking for a Regional Manager for the Wagga Region to join a dynamic team in the agricultural sector. This pivotal role involves strategic and operational leadership to enhance product and service distribution across its Region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute regional strategies to enhance the distribution of agricultural products and services.
  • Lead and motivate a high-performing team, ensuring strategic alignment with the company's objectives.
  • Drive safety initiatives, embedding a culture of 'Safety First' across all operations.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, enhancing business growth and market position.
  • Oversee financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and inventory control, to achieve financial targets.
  • Implement continuous improvement processes to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Agricultural Science, or related field
  • Demonstrated leadership in safety compliance and transformational safety practices.
  • Proven ability in leading successful teams and establishing collaborative partnerships.
  • Strong track record in sales leadership, business development, and strategic planning within the agricultural sector.
  • Excellent financial acumen and capability in managing large-scale budgets and resources.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet business needs.

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of the AgChem, fertiliser, seed, crop protection, animal health, and irrigation markets.
  • Experience in change management and operational improvement within a distributed organisation.
