Our client is a highly regarded residential home builder with a strong presence across New South Wales. With an established brand, an extensive display home network and significant annual revenue, the business is recognised as a leader in the Australian project home sector.
The organisation is now seeking to appoint a General Manager – Sales to lead and evolve the statewide sales function.
Reporting directly to the CEO, this position carries full accountability for sales performance across NSW and will play a central role in shaping and executing the company’s sales strategy. The role leads a sizeable team including regional sales managers, display home operations and sales support functions, ensuring the broader sales organisation delivers against ambitious revenue targets.
Key areas of responsibility will include:
- Setting and executing the statewide sales strategy to drive sustainable revenue growth
- Leading, developing and motivating a large, high-performing sales organisation
- Monitoring sales performance across regions and implementing initiatives to improve results
- Building strong relationships with land developers and key partners to unlock new opportunities
- Ensuring the sales lifecycle and customer journey are executed consistently across all locations
- Using reporting, forecasting and market intelligence to identify growth opportunities
- Overseeing sales budgets, performance tracking and strategic planning activities
The successful candidate will be a proven sales leader with experience managing large teams and driving commercial performance within a complex sales environment. You will combine strategic capability with strong operational discipline and the ability to lead from the front.
Experience within residential building, construction, property development or a closely related sector will be highly regarded.
